When I read about Alex and Tim's HSTs I realized that I had not seen one from Alex---so, I went thru all of them 3 times and still cannot find it. I wondered if we were getting either Alex or Ricky but not both?? No Problrm as I'm sure there will be one from alex in at least one of the other exchanges. Just thought I'd check, Mona 80

Alex signed the fabric face not the papers, so on arrival it looks like an un-named hst.

Hi - I'm Barb Paliatsos - from NYC via MI, IN and Chicago, IL. Have been in Houston for 32 years. I made all of my own clothes and tailored my husband's suits. When I discovered quilting about 19 years ago, I started buying my clothes! I am an avid quilter and love both piecing and machine applique. I quilt everyday.
I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren who all live in the area. They are all laden with quilts. My husband and I play golf a few days a week and tennis every week night.
I joined TQS when it first started and love it. I have been enjoying classes at International Quilt Festival for 18 years and look forward to meeting TQS members who will be here this year. I know the best Mexican restaurants
I am doing the batik strip exchange and have met so many great quilters - I am looking forward to getting those packages back out to everyone in May and hope those who participated in any of the recent exchanges and are coming to Houston in Nov. will bring their tops for an awesome Show and Tell.

OH! Be still, my heart!
I have received the lovely darlings today and haven't stopped playing with them. It's so nice to put a HST to a name that I've read here on the forum and a few faces. I read all the name side of them first, then turned them over to see the beauty!
THANK you to everyone, and especially Ritzy for your generous spirit.
Now, the story is only half over - what to do with all these babies? Make an exclusive Batik something, or wait to see it they will go toegether with the others from SOTTT.

I am another Canadian anxiously waiting for hers!!! Everyday when I arrive from school I ask DH if the package was delivered.....meanwhile I have sewn up some more HSTs in the hopes to make a bigger quilt with the ones from the exchange perhaps going into a medallion-style center....at least that is the current idea for now
cheers from chilly Nova Scotia

As I expected, my package arrived at my home in FL while I'm stuck at work up here in MD!! When I asked my husband if my package had arrived, he thought it amusing to torment me by telling me that, yes, it had, and he presumed I wanted all the triangles sewn together......so, he had done just that! Not really, of course; but, it was enough of a little joke to send my heart into palpitations. LOL. Can't wait to get home to see them. Thanks bunches!!

For all who sent HSTs for Hanne-Grete--here is a message I received from her:
I recieved some wonderful, colorful and amazing HSTs in the mail just a few
minutes ago!!!!! When I tell you I really do not know how to say thank you
because those 2 words do not in any way express how thankful I am. I will
try anyway: Thank you for doing this for me, thank you for your time and
thoughts, thank you for your wonderful fabric, thank you for your efford
and threads, thank you for making a stressful time in my life amazingly
bright!!!I feel honored and humble and I know your patches will be a part
of a quilt that will be treasured in a way words cant tell- BIG BIG hugs to
you!!!
Smiles from a thankful Hanne-Grete
Well done ladies--you are truly generous people.

I received my little jewels last week and just love them!!! Hubby had to wait for dinner while I looked at and exclaimed over each and every one - how beautiful they all were and where they had traveled from. Thank you everyone for sharing your talents and beautiful fabrics. Ritzy, words can't express how thrilled I am to have been a part of this exchange. I work full-time and just can't make room in my life for a quilt guild yet. The TQS exchanges are like being part of a huge, world-wide quilt guild, with some of the nicest people I've ever met. Now to go play with my babies again as I plan what to do with them all.
Warm regards to all,
Sheila
