Sent off my 137 HSTs yesterday, Friday March 4th.

Here is where we stand right now. I have received 67 packages; only two had any damage to the package and that was that they arrived open because they were not taped. Because everything was in a baggie--there was no problem. All the packages from overseas have been sent except one from Australia. I have received many wonderful gifts--thank you ladies. I have also received monetary gifts to help with expenses--thank you for that also.

If you have not yet sent your package--things to remember:
do not press the HSTs open--they arrive all wrinkled
tape the mailing envelope closed
don't forget to add a return mailing envelope
if you are in the States--put your mailing address as the return address
remember to put postage on your return envelope
only send 137 HSTs unless you want some to go to Queensland or Hanne-Grete

I've been a busy bee this weekend. I have to brag. Mom came over and this was her first quilting experience. We completed 1049 HSTs!!!. Included in there were my 137 for Batiks-R-Us and partials for the Sisterhood. Nice experience and I think my mom is definately interested. She's talking about shopping for fabric. Humm. Clara

Mine got off today. Now I need to forget about them and be surprised when the return batch arrives - can't wait.

I may not get mine in by the march 15 deadline. My daugher in law just had a baby and I only got home yesterday. Can I still send them? I may be 4 or 5 days late.

All we need now is for an announcement in the Strippers, to go with the Sottts and Batiks-R-US babies

My stuff went out yesterday, and I tucked a fat quarter in there for Ritzy, because I think she's terrific for stepping up to run this!

I have 50 ladies I have not heard from. If you have sent your package please send me an email so I know it should be on its way. If I don't hear from you--on March 15th--I will assume you have changed your mind about the exchange. Everyone is excited about getting their new HSTs but I have to receive them first. Remember the mailing deadline is March 15th.

Does March 15th sound familiar? March 15th, March 15th, March 15th...ok enough.
