Ritzy, please check the first page now and see if that works for you. If not, you can start another whole topic, but I think this will work for now.

Oh, Margo! I am going to start calling you Johnny! Short for Johnny-on-the-spot. How you put all of Ritzy's information up front and personal so quickly is amazing to me!!!!

I have a request! How about you folks working on a group name for this Batiks exchange? We need to be able to easily differentiate between the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles" (SoTTT) with the purely Batiks exchange.

        Any ideas???

OK--we need a name--we don't have any guys yet but we should probably not offend them again(giggling) so help!

I am liking Unique batiks but I think it needs more.

Lets see - - - How about BATS! Batiks Anonymous Triangulators. We will all be bats once we've done all of these and the ones for the SOT exchange! I figure I'll be doing about 800 total or more HST between the two.

I bought fabric to do 4 different types, but if we just do 3, I'll keep the rest for myself.

                          Are we prewashing the fabrics?

Ritzy, I copied the instructions and emailed them to myself so I wouldn't have to go back to find them. :-)

Sherry, with all the washing that batiks get in the process of making them; I don't think it is necessary.

Thanks, Ritzy - that is good for me since I'm living in an RV and would have to take them to a laundromat :-)

I prewash all of my fabrics and have found the batiks to bleed more than most. Even with color catchers, I've had spotting. :x Sherry, how about at least giving them a rinse in your sink? That way you'd see if you have any problematic fabrics. You could always dry them outside
I hope I'm not being difficult. It would be a bummer to muck up those creams when we wash our finished project.
