            Gail,
            I understand you have a lot of limits and it is making it difficult for you. As long as your thangles HST end up being 2 inch finished size (after they are in the quilt). They will be 2.5 before sewing them in with the seam allowances in place.

            Hope this helps. We are only recommending the other kind just for consistency. It's not a law, so don't worry. Have fun sewing.

                  I would like to participate also, I am not quite understanding on the pressing, do I press them open, then fold them back to mail, or do I just set the seam and mail them?

                          Hi Mary Kay,
                          Press your fabric before sewing, pin on your papers, sew, cut apart and leave papers on. AFTER you get your exchange triangles then press the triangles over with the seam going toward the dark side.

                          HELPFUL HINT!!!
                          I would recommend anyone not sure about the pressing or any part of this process to watch the show again. They have links set up, so you can go directly to the teaching area right away. She is a great teacher and makes the learning fun. Enjoy again and again.

                              After we have sewn on the dotted line, and cut on the solid line, we are told to press carefully, with paper still on, but leave folded. So, why am I pressing it if I am not pressing it open? What, exactly does this pressing do?
