TaDa! I’m happy with all the surprises this offered me {& all of us} I never thought I could piece something so intricate & always questioned my color choices. Ricky, you’ve taught me so much & given me the confidence to try new things & “trust the process” Thank you kindly I’m gonna watch lesson #4 again & let all the possibilities percolate for a few days about the border, no tellin’ what the final surprise might be.

Your quilt looks very 3D, the red center just pops..well done.

Finished the top. Will use the same red border fabric for the binding. This was hard work. First time I have tried anything like thing like this. I plan on making a kaleidoscope Christmas tree skirt.

I made wider borders and didn't like it at all. I almost changed to no border but than decided to make them smaller and it really helped.

I am so happy with how this turned out! Thank you Ricky! What a wonderful series of classes and it was just the challenge I needed during these dog days of summer! Fantastic teaching! Now I am busy working on my borders for it! Hugs, Deb Johnson Our Time to Quilt, You Tube

Here is my completed Kool Kaleidoscope top. I stumbled upon your video in YouTube at lesson two. Intrigued, I went back to lesson one and could not wait to get started. So I am a few days behind but it has been such fun. I enjoyed the process so much. Thank you for the lessons. I'm not sure yet how I will finish it off. I need to consider that a bit more. Take care, all.

I have my top sewn together. I loved the process and how easily it went together. However, it really lacks pizzazz! Any ideas on how to jazz it up?
