The New York Beauty shows a picture of the final quilt and says that it measures 34 X 34. The blocks that we are making are 8". The quilt as shown in the picture has 3 blocks across. 3 X 8 doesn't equal 34. Am I missing something?

The blocks are set on point. An 8” block is about 11.33” on point so the quilt is 34” square.

I couldn’t watch the live week three.
Has it been posted to watch later? Can’t seem to find it.

Block #1 completed. I found two orphan blocks in my stash, so went with that color scheme.

I really struggled with some of those tight curves. Thus the reason I only made 4.

The pillow is beautiful. I'm so glad you stuck it out. Curves can be tricky but keep practicing, it'll come.

Hi Dee,, Just got my top finished of my New York Beauty,, now to quilt it, hopefully soon!
I have never made this block before, so I was intrigued to make it!
I used my collection of Fossil Fern fabric for it, and I love it!

Blocks 1-3. This photo flipped the layout, but I'm sure you get the idea.
