There's a great app... iPad Secrets. Has loads of tips and tricks, can't remember if I had to pay anything, but learned loads. There is one for the iPhone as well, you won't really need to get both as most things are the same or similar...

Holy Moly!! I am blown away by all these tips! I know almost nothing except how to read my mail and surf the internet on my ipad, so this was eyeopening! Now, if I can get him to redo the video SLOWER I might be able to follow along!

I guess I need an Ipad for Dummies book or lesson.

Margo, not yet. I'm trying to convince myself right now that I should replace my 12 (!) year old mobile phone. Not sure if I'm quite ready for a full technology onslaught.

Lorchen, the Ipad is SO much more fun than a phone!! I'd go for the Ipad for sure!

(Just so you know, I have a Stupid Phone and it suits me just fine! I am not smart enough for a Smart Phone!LOL)

Hey Michelle, maybe we should form a 'stupid phone club' - I would be a member too! I have resisted the iPhone and the iPad so far. But I have to admit I am more interested now that they have a smaller version of the iPad. Thanks for the link to the tips Margo - for when/if I do.

I'm a member of the dumb phone club, too! In fact, I was too cheap to even get a cell phone until a friend offered to add me to her family plan for $10/month. But I have to admit that I broke down and bought a Kindle Fire after Christmas. Of course I got the biggest and the best because if you're going to go, you might as well go all the way. You can't beat it as an entertainment center! There are probably useful things you can do, too, but I'm still into the entertainment. I do enough useful computer stuff at work!

Thanks Margo, can't wait to view the link!

I, too, still have a "dumb phone" and I struggle with it even! But we have the original ipad and the latest ipad - only because DH won them at work related conferences. We mostly use them to play solitaire! LOL!

I've had a smart phone for two years. At first it tried to prove it was smarter than I was. With a lot of determination I managed to prove it was wrong about that. Now I don't know how I would do without it. Since it is android phone, when I bought a tablet I got an Asus android tablet rather than an iPad. Now I use it more than the pc! Fi
