What type of paint is used in the quilt...

The quilt with Alex as a little girl sewing with her sister and grandmother is exquisite. I was wondering what type of paint she used. Anybody know??? Dr. Jan

She says she uses layers of Angel paint on June 12ths daily blog. Karen

How does one purchase Angel Paint? Is it pricey?

Got it! In an article on Jan 26 2009 she tells about the paint co and there is a link to it. I knew I saw it somewhere. Karen (In the Articles section )

I ordered some (okay -- many bottles) of paint today. Jackie (the owner) was extremely nice to such a newbie (that'd be me).

I can hardly wait to try it. She was describing how I can get the effect I want (transparency) on my 'lady' quilt. I've decided that the words will be done in the paint. I want it to be transparent so it doesn't distract from the quilt but once someone realizes that there are words, it will hopefully "draw them in" to find more words!

Does anyone know how large Gail's painted quilt is? It looked small in one of the pictures. But there is so much detail in it I thought it would be large. Hope someone knows. Jan
