OMG! I can't wait to see this one in its entirety.

Oh, I had a thought about last year's 2008 BOM. I currently have 6 blocks finished (7 if you count the January "practice block" I did on different background) I am working on the next block as we speak, but I do not know that I really have the time or patience required to truely finish this quilt the way it was designed. Well, with this year's BOM I started out to make two of them in different color ways, but after February decided to set aside the second one, so I just have this Feathered star with the four-patch border sitting here, and it occured to me that many of the fabrics I used in that peice are the same ones I used in the 2008 BOM! SO, I think I am only going to do 8 of the 12 blocks from the 2008 BOM and set them around this second 2009 center I made using some spacing blocks and floaters to match them up size wise - basically a 2008/2009 hybrid!

Thanks for mentioning Wanda's blog. I was so excited to see that there is a pieced BOM and an Applique BOM for 2010. I know for sure I will be doing the pieced one but I think this will make me try applique.

Now back to work on getting my star border on this years.

There are great pictures of the two 2010 BOM in the shoppe section under kits for sale. I am planning on making the pieced one for sure and think I want to try at least a block of the applique to see if I like it.

I just got a look at the 2010 BOMs and I really like the pieced quilt. It doesn't look quite as intimidating as this years quilt, but still something that will be a challenge. I didn't start on this years quilt, but have been saving all the instructions, and even if I don't make the entire quilt, I am sure the instructions will help when I want to make a quilt with stars, pinwheels, or Flying Geese.

I'm looking forward to the 2010 BOMs, I don't know how Sue does it, but she is incredible. I will probably only do the pieced one but will download both. You never know, I may have some spare time to try the applique. My 2008 BOM is just sitting, I only did 4 blocks and am thinking a wall hanging. The 2009, at least two months behind but working when I can. Thanks Sue for your designs, tutorials and Margo for your tutorials and color ways, Pat

Just wondering if anyone knows what the dimentions of the 2010 Applique' BOM "Hugs & Kisses"? I don't see the dimentions noted in the discription of the new 2010 BOM Kit in the TQS Shoppe. Looks maybe lap size...I just love all the potential quilting areas! Ooooo, possibilites after watching the TQS episode with Joanie Zeier Poole!!

In the newletter that came today says it is 71 x 87 for the applique and 84 x 84 for the pieces.

I think I just found the project for my batiks and hand dyed collection!!! And, like many of you, I like the "quilting room" in the pieced one.

Although I love the applique one and will probably download the instructions, I'm going to attempt the pieced one. I really like how happy and colorful it is.

I just received the fabrics for the 2010 pieced BOM. They are so gorgeous I can't wait to start working on it! I hesitated to get the kit since I really enjoyed choosing my own fabrics this year but decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. I love them all.
