    Thanks, Margo.

Karumba!! It's Amazing! Sue looked so calm and put together at Quilt Festival. If I would have finished designing, making and publishing this BOM I would have my hair standing on end about now. Looking forward to 2009.

    I want her vitamins............... :P

        Hi all -
Jenny asked if 1930s ("Aunt Grace") fabrics would look in the new BOM. Absolutely! Maggie is right - I believe you would need to include some of the 30s-type solid fabrics in the quilt to keep it from looking too busy. Think about using them in the "floaters" (the unpieced border strips) that separate the different blocks/units -- they would let your eyes rest a bit. Also, the setting triangles for the feathered star and for the blocks set on point in the outer border could be made using 30s fabrics or solid fabrics -- solids would give you a wonderful place to showcase some lovely quilting, too.
        Best wishes -
        Sue Garman
