Sally don't worry about being behind... I think the June block is made to help catch up, it's a quickie! Your blocks so far look great, I love the "basketweave" fabric!

        Kris,
Your background fabric is gorgeous. Your flowers/vases seem to be floating.
Can you tell us about the background fabric, is is hand dyed? And it seems to have the same pattern on all your blocks.

Kris your June block is fabulous the yellow really pops. That is so cool that your DH likes to quilt and help you with your quilts. What fun you must have shopping for fabric.

I've finally finished my June block and it's posted on My Profile. I'm so glad I was able to complete it while it's still June! Now on to July

Everyone's June blocks look really good! I am thinking of skipping ahead and doing June now... versus april... may... <sigh>

Such inspiration! I feel like calling into work sick so I can stay home and sew.

Musicanstitches......the background is Ricky's bright Rapsody. I'm really pleased with the way the placement of the appliques has come across......they realy do look like they are floating and I wish I could take credit for this, but must admit it was a fluke........Hopefully, my "artistic abilities" will grow and I'll be able to see these elements in the future, rather than depending on dumb luck.......I guess their must be something there though.........anyway, this has been great fun and I can hardly wait for the July block to be posted.......I never thought I'd be this excited about applique

Yippee!! I finished my June Block(it's in my profile)....it does feel good to get that block finished in the right month! I really do love the diversity of everyone's blocks, and the show and tell each month is so much fun! Thanks for all the encouragement to get me back on track, and thanks to you all...I'm a "BOM'er" again!!

                          Everyone -

You know that it is really dangerous for me to read the Forum -- I get so wound up looking at the beautiful work that you have done that if I were cooking dinner on the stove, it would be on fire right now! Now that you all are finishing up your sixth block, the "quilt" is starting to take shape. With just 2-3 blocks, you know it's coming, but with six blocks, you can see it begin to come alive. Those of you who have posted 4-6 blocks together in your profiles are showing all of us what the quilt will be like in just a few more months - time is flying!

I am still speechless over the wonderful color selections you all are making - isn't it fun to decide what color to make some of these flowers??? You all simply amaze me!!

                          Keep up the great work!
