Hello, February block has been posted. Found some fabric in my stash with stars to make my flower centers. They were not all perfectly centered but it makes it look more "interesting". That's my answer and I'm sticking to it

Love looking at all the blocks already posted.

                      Thanks!

I have another block I"m working on for a quilt center. I wanted to fuse it and button-hole stitch it but thought I should do fine hand applique - which I can do and I'm pretty good at it but it is so time consuming. I felt guilty not doing it the "correct" way but then I met with some fellow quilters and one of them took me aside and in a very firm voice said - but Denise - IT'S YOUR QUILT. Funny that really stuck with me, she was right, it gave me permission to do what I wanted and so far it's coming out nice. It's over 150 pieces of applique but at least it's started

Yippee! It looks like I've gotten my feet wet in downloading pix to this site and it worked!! Anyway...my Feb block is on my profile. Used kit fabrics and oldies but goodies from my stash. The embellishments on the vase are from one of the earliest Jinny Beyer fabric lines. At any rate, on to the March block! Sally in NE Ohio
