What is it about the site that seems unorganized to you? I hope that everyone is getting the help that they need. The template "problems" have been identified as printer problems, so you shouldn't have any trouble as far as that goes. The fabric wait is an issue with the warehouse, and not TQS. I hope you decide to stick with it!

      Hi Fellow BOMers
I'm Denise from Kansas and this will be my first BOM with TQS. I couldn't even begin to think about using my own colors, so I am doing the one in Buttons and Blooms. Got the fabric (its wonderful) and will start cutting this afternoon. I am counting on the idea that you only need to START the January block in January (grin).
      Cheers!
      Denise

Finished Jan block today just under the wire (my schedule) if I can get each block finished before the next month maybe I will finish the quilt. I got behind a couple of years ago with Stars for a New day and still have not finished it. Sedona Star has captured my heart I hope I can do Sarah proud. Best of luck ladies. Joan

I agree with you Denise - I only started working on mine today. I decided to go with my own fabrics and it took a while to decide which ones to use. Hopefully I will catch up by the end of February.

Well, it's late afternoon on the 31st and I am WAITING for the Feb block instructions. I have enjoyed doing the first segment, and am eager to start the next. I hope that I can keep completing each one in time for the next, otherwise I'm afraid that I might get discouraged and stop doing them. I, too, love the Sedona Star and live less than an hour from Sedona, AZ. I have always loved the area and hope to do it justice. Cynthia

Denise, and all other "late starters." I, too, just received my Fizz quilt packet and although I did get the templates all ready to go, and my binder is set up, I have yet to make that first cut. These fabrics just look so pretty sitting on my cutting table! I am also off to take care of 2 sweet grandchildren while mommy gets a break and so by the time I get back, February will be on its way and then the 1st of March will be here before you know it. So, its going to be sew fun. It has been fun already, seeing everyone's interpetations. I couldn't resist using Sarah's Fizz colorway as I was lucky enough to see it when Alex had it in Sacramento a couple weeks ago. It is even prettier in person and was quilted beautifully. If mine turns out 1/4 as nice I will be a happy camper. Good luck to all! Teresa

Dear Isipes, Thank you for your note. What was frustrating to me was that there was no way to pre-order the Fizz kit and frankly for the longest time there was no reason given that I could see that the kits were not ready on 01/01/12. I realize maybe my expectations were too high because I was so excited to do this project. I did receive my Fizz kit yesterday afternoon and have washed and pressed it all and am ready/afraid to begin.

Again, thank you for your note.

I'm a late starter, too. I have my Fizz kit but have been working so hard in Jan to finish several UFOs that I kept plugging away there and didn't start the BOM. I have a guild sewing day on Monday so might take it with me. Nervous, too... even tho I LOVE paper piecing!

Yea, the post came today and my Fizz kit arrived and Oh my it is so yummy, so I will also be doing the Fizz along with the Buttons and Blooms which is turning out just lovely and also last years Ruffled Roses which is so beautiful , oh my how wonderful it is to do and not to just dream, oh and I am just about to start the quilting on the 1/2 square triangle exchange which I got held up on with not being able to get the fabric I wanted for the border, so on the fizz I will be a late starter too, not to worry it's fun just not enough hours in a day
