Pam,

I was a fence-sitter like you, but decided that this was the year to get in the game. I have learned a lot from the tutorials at The Quilt Show
(such as the videos that Sue did for the 2009 BOM), and figured that if I actually made the quilt this time I would learn even more! The other great thing about this project is that since it is medallion style, you could choose to stop after the center block and a few borders and still have a lovely quilt.

OK, I'm in too!! For the past 3 years I have looked at the BOM and thought, 'much too advanced, too difficult, not enough time etc etc etc'. I have been following all the threads for this year and am aware that I have lots of WIPs, but also know that the previous BOMs have been major learning curves for people. I need to step out of my comfort zone, I dont like paper piecing or applique. So with encouragement from DH, I have printed out the instructions this morning and over the next few days will sort through my stash. Wish me luck!!

Yea, Pam!!!! Good for you! I'm happy I'll be sharing this journey with you! I have sooo much enjoyed our phone conversations over the past few months. Maybe this will give us an excuse to keep them up Hugs, Robin
