Barbara, It had been 2 weeks since I looked at your blog. Can't tell you how much I love the ties quilt and the wool quilt that
the ladies in your sew group are making. Makes me want to branch out from my cotton quilting fabrics. Was that picture of
the Gelato ombre colored fabrics and Kaffe a hint for next years BOM? I would be surprised if some of your group from
this year don't change their minds and decide they just can't miss all the fun. HelenW

No, the ombré fabrics and Kaffe have nothing to do with the 2023 BOM. But I have started that, eager to show it off, soon…

when will we learn how to put the blocks together? Are we supposed to sew the blocks we have finished around the center block as we make them? Wondering if I have missed something.

Each month as blocks are made the instructions tell you which blocks to sew together to form each section/row. At the end of Month 5 the instructions tell you to sew the entire middle part of the quilt together. The remaining two outer rows will be completed by Month 11. Go back and read the end of each month's instructions for how to join all the blocks each month.
