Barbara, I am so excited. Can't wait to see it. Glad Alex is revealing it earlier than Dec. 1. I have a couple designer from Australia that
I am hoping it might be. HelenW

Wishful thinking. Will there be any SVG files that could be used for cutting out the pieces and perhaps be used to program and scan outline embroidery appliqué stitches? Thank you. Pat

There are no plans for anything like that.

Irene does all her quilts by needle turn hand appliqué. My optional alternative instructions will cover turned edge OR raw edge machine appliqué using printed patterns on stabilizer.

For those that have not watched Alex Live, this is a screen shot of the fabulous
quilt that is TQS BOM 2022. Irene Blanck is giving us a wonderful quilt to make
        next year. Can't wait. HelenW

The 2022 BOM is stunning. Irene Blanck's quilts are always so unique. Barbara I have a question - how did you pick the fabrics for this quilt? I will also look at the kit on this one as there are a lot of different prints .

Alice, I had a great time picking fabrics from my deep stash. In early December I will have a detailed blog post on my process. I probably have 80 or more fabrics in mine.

I just did a class with Irene, I think this is such a wonderful choice. I find her appliqué is a little more forgiving than some, because of the organic shapes.

Great to see TQS recognizing this great Ozzie designer!

I've never been tempted to use reproduction fabrics, they're just not my thing. But this quilt is calling to me to be done in reproduction fabrics. My LQS has a beautiful bright line sitting right by the front door. I think I'm going to go there on small business Saturday and get some of each.

That would be lovely and completely your own.

Batiks are perfect for this. I used quite a few.

We will be eager to see these. A variety of backgrounds work as well as a wide variety of prints for the piecing/appliqué. My LIVE December 3 will show my process for fabric selection and the December 5 blog will discuss the fabric requirements.
