Finished at last and I thought the houses wouldn’t take long. I made the first one and then decided to design my own. Next one was hubby childhood home, (WEST), then I went back and added windows to the first one to look like my paternal grandmothers last house, (NORTH). Number 3 was where I spent most of my teenage years, one of more than 25 homes in my lifetime including 2 pubs and a general store. This was one of the pubs, (EAST). Number 4 is the pattern as I gave up trying to do my other grandparents house, so it has a flowering tree as my grandfather was a great gardener. (SOUTH). Looking forward to November which is now not far away.

Working my way around the outer circle. Today I constructed my third home and marked the halfway point. Made good progress the past 10 days, so hoping to keep up the momentum. I know what all the remaining buildings will be, so that’s half the battle!

Making a beach theme. My little houses are little cabana's with palm trees. This sure has been a fun adventure.

ID:	888819I finally have my "Little Houses" completed. For some reason the fourth house would not upload. The church perhaps does not have enough contrast with the background. If I would have a do-over, I would have made the silo out of the grey solid. My favorite block is the school house, which reminds me of my two-room elementary school in Pleasantville.

I love your designs. I am disappointed not to see the 4th. Try again in a separate post maybe.

Colleen, my fourth little house was simply the pattern that downloaded with the BOM. Pam

These represent the houses I have lived in over the last 40 years. I used the color of the homes and the house numbers. The lower left house had a castle like part that is represented here.

Finishing up on the final components of my wool appliqué on wholecloth linen BOM with the small houses in the city. These are the four homes we have lived in over our 38 years of marriage. Still need to add our fur baby with two of the houses, then onto the border!
