I decided not to add the trees as I like it without, my background has trees and animals in it.

Not too familiar with posting, ready for November, these are my houses, enjoyed the project as it was presented, no major changes.

I'm enjoying this quilt so much, I've added my 4 little houses & the Statue of Liberty for my 1st corner. I won't sew it in yet till I'm sure I got the background size correct. I'm considering a windmill, the University of Texas clock tower & the American & Texas flags for the other corners. When I see the beautiful patterns Wendy sends I might totally change my mind & do hers.

Would you be willing to sell your pattern for the Statue of Liberty?
      Thanks

Love the Statue of Liberty. Did you paper piece it? I am looking to do the same thing.

I like the font on your quilt store. Do you know the name of it? Is it embroidered?

Progress so far on my Color My World. I used grunge fabrics throughout with the exception of the sky which is a Stonehenge fabric. I will use Big Ben for one corner since my son works and lives in London and One World Trade Center since most of my family has worked or lived in New Jersey/New York. My daughter is an architect in Houston and I will put the Apollo rocket in one corner. My husband is from Hamburg Germany and he would like the church tower from St. Michael's to represent him in the fourth corner.

I have finally caught up. Had a lot of fun draughting my little houses as 3 of the homes we have lived in over the years. But I forgot they're mirror images so the first one is backwards

Just finished my four little houses in the City - actually only one house (ours) and three local Los Angeles iconic sites . Our little brick house in Westwood Hills, Royce Hall at the center of the quad at my alma Mater UCLA, the Griffith Planetarium and the Hollywood sign. I’m enjoying designing and making these little customized scenes.
