Would anyone happen to know the color name of the yellow Palette by Marcia Derse fabric used in the TQS Color My World kit?

The "construction manager" (me!) would like more yellow for Tall Buildings #4 right and left, the N, S, E, W small houses, and for at least one of the corner pieces.

Hi, Terri. It is called Duckling from Windham. A Google search says it's available from Hancock's of Paducah.

I suggest you measure the finished size of each of the 6 sections, then add 1/2" seam allowance to that total and you will know the size. I don't have any TBs here anymore. I can't measure the buildings in my quilt as the quilting/washing has changed the size of the quilt.

Sewskeel, I don't have one of those, but I use a arm sleeve roll to press seams open and it works great too. HelenW

Everything about this quilt has gone together flawlessly until I added the TB 4 left side to 1-3. The tall building 4 was way to large. I have had to do some fiddly stuff to get it to fit to TB3. I hope it works - has any one else had the same issue and is there the same issue with the rt side? I have changed nothing about the way I’ve done all of the others.

In both the LIVE and the Month 9 blog I talk about the size of TB#4. Here is a link to the LIVE:

My tall buildings are not as perfect as I thought they were now that I am sewing them to each other. Should I stretch and ease to make them line up perfectly or have them be off on the border edge (to be evened up) or trim the circle edge which is a bit wonky here and there? Is one kind of adjustment better than the other? Split the difference between edges? A few are almost 1/4 inch off.

Why do you think you are off? Is it seam allowances in sewing the various sections? Try to fix those so TB# 4 fits TB#3.

Thank you, Barbara. It turned out that the first set of four I sewed together were the only ones that were a problem. All of the other buildings are fitting together per your instructions--yay!
