Thanks, Hollyminer. What "happened" is that I hand-quilted the quilt. I love to do hand-quilting, but it takes much longer than the piecing does.

Month 2 finished. I spent weeks agonising over focus fabric. I took out the centre part of the star and replaced it with the fabric I finally chose. There is a lot to be said for choosing all your fabrics in advance. :lol:

Simply stunning work. I love the color scheme. Red is my favorite color haha. Where do you draw the inspiration for something like this?
