    Decorative stitching on the border of A - Z quilt

    Has anyone done the decorative stitch on the border of Janet Stone's A - Z quilt? Janet said she did that stitching after the quilting was completed. I would like to do it before it is quilted and was wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions before I start this stitching. This has been such a learning process for me since I'm not very experienced at making quilts. I have enjoyed the journey so much and the quilt top is just so beautiful. I can hardly wait until it is completed! Thank you so much! And wouldn't it be wonderful if Janet would do another BOM!!!
