    Kaffe Fassett Collective

I'm in love with KFC fabrics they are so colourful and have so many different scales of size in their ranges I keep picking up fat quarters and even made myself cut into them.

This is a quilt I've just finished for my neice.

She wanted horses so I put plenty on the back

I just love the cabbage fabric and I could eat the dots

      Beautiful!
I love Kaffe Fassett fabrics too, and especially the green cabbage one. I am not good at cutting into them.

Thank you this type of quilt is lovely for trying out quilting.

There's a Facebook group for KFC which shows some amazing quilts but I never dare comment because you get so many notifications. It's worth a look though

Judith if you cut into them it's a good excuse to buy more

I was not into Kaffe Fassett fabrics because all I saw were the very bold fabrics but the mix of colors you used in your quilt is making me rethink it all. Love your quilt, Wendy, and your quilting is inspiring me! :cheer:

Wendy You are making me re-think Kaffe. I have always thought his stuff was too busy but the way you chose to do this quilt really works.

Wendy, thank you for the introduction to Sophie Standing's work--had never seen it before, but amazing what she does with thread and fabric (and feathers and other things... hmy: ). Beautiful use of color and her composition transports you right into her work. Amazing! Thank you!!!

Ok, ok! I'm a convert now, too. Kaffe Fassett should be sending you 'thank you' notes, Wendy. I am officially impressed thanks to you.
