Well, Marilyn, don't feel badly. I only remember because when I'm not using it, I roll it up and put it back into the plastic bag it was in when I bought it and it has a label with the name!

I looked it up and there is a huge price difference. Now I just have to decide if I want to wait until March and try my Aunt's Supreme Slider first or just go ahead and order the....ah... whatchamacallit. lol

I have a couple that I use together on my 830. I love the things. They make FMQ a whole different experience. I haven't tried the thinner one Renata mentioned, but I think the thickness is also helpful in that it covers the edges and gaps and really makes a good sewing surface. It's well worth the money if you are going to do much FMQ.

I like mine, but have to be careful with larger quilts. Not long ago the slider moved, and soon I was sewing it to the back of my quilt!

Me too, I chewed the hole up so much that I had to cut it bigger

I have both the supreme slider and the sew slip? one. They both work very well. I got the sew slip one because I wanted a bigger area and the price IS less. It also stays sticky with just a rinse in water. I'd definitely recommend them.

I looked at Supreme Slider and Sew Slip II side by side and the difference in thickness is SO MINIMAL that most people would not even notice it (I just happened to be very detail oriented by professional training and notice those kind of things) and it is not even worthy of a consideration as a factor so in essence you are looking at a significant difference in price and a pink Supreme Slider versus a white Sew Slip... I've had mine for at least two years now, I'm a new quilter and I haven't sewn it onto my quilt yet! (knock on wood!)

The only reason I sewed mine onto my quilt was because I was too lazy to stop, get up and rinse the slider when some batting fuzz had gotten one to the sticky side...
As so often, I have to learn he hard way... Will I be good next time? Probably, but then again, maybe not.

okay, ya'll sold me! I'm going to go ahead and order the Sew Slip II. Patience never has been one of my stronger virtues! I'll let you know how I like it when it comes.
                      Thanks all!

I am new to the Post. In fact this is my first time. I do have the Queen Slider and do like it. I've never had a problem of any kind with it.
I found a way to make it bigger! I noticed when I took the sun screen, that you stick to your car windows, that the material seemed to be basically the same as the Slider so I put that down also and it does a good job and gives me a much bigger space on which to quilt. I buy them at Wal-Mart in the auto accessories section for a a very low price.

Love it ...have two and can not FMQ without it... When I made my daughters quilting supplies... I included on in her kit... she loves it.

I think Patsy Thompson, in one of her classroom videos uses a silicone spray, it must be safe for machines or I don't think she would use it.
I haven't used it myself as I haven't seen it for sale in the UK.
I have a Supreme Slider and that works Ok but I don't do a lot of FMQ
