Thank you everyone! Like Dawn, I am over the moon happy (and a bit flabbergasted) with the judges' decision. Many of you saw me start my quilting journey on the pages of this Forum just a few years ago when I was too afraid to even try to FMQ and many of you gave me a lot of advice and help along the way... so the best I was hoping for was for my quilt to be accepted to travel. This was a total surprise!
Thanks, Kathy, for posting the Hoffman Challenge Facebook URL with photos of all the winning quilts. I think they took the photos of the first place winners and enlarged them, leaving them a bit blurry and not showing some of the detail. Rosemary, I'm reposting my photos here so you can see them without scouring through this topic (even I don't remember what page my photos are on...). Sorry I don't know how to make these photos smaller when "inserted."

Wow, Renata! I love that close up! The detail is exquisite! Such tiny circles and squares. Absolutely beautiful! First place well deserved!
And, thank you all, from me, too! I will admit, I could hardly hold it together when I called my DH to share the good news. This is such an honor! And, as Rosemary requested... a reposting of photos.... (Clear, not blurry!)

I've just had a few mins to pop over here for once and wow! How fun to see your Hoffman quilts and congratulations! That would be a wonderful thrill!
I took last week to quilt for myself. I hadn't quilted for me since the end of Feb or early March. But I had to hurry and Mr. Farmer needed a ton of help with bookkeeping as our account was due on Weds so that took some quilting time from me. Well, mostly delayed my return to customer work.
I finished quilting one for my great-niece who is now 15 months old! I had it done and the binding on the day a great-nephew arrived! I'm never caught up! LOL!! I just wish I saw these littles more and they could know their great-aunt.And I finished quilting a mystery quilt I made this winter. Either tonight or tomorrow, I'll put the binding on that. Then it will be fun to throw them through the washer & dryer and get photos.
Meanwhile, up early this a.m. to head to a Pi-Yo exercise class. It is a combo of Pilates & yoga they say. I am learning it is more Death by Yoga to me! I did miss 2 weeks in a row so that could have made last week tougher. I'm hoping today is better and I don't feel like I'm having an exploding heart attack. It would be a hard landing!
Have fun quilting today! Hope to be back later! (I finished my little bag of dark choc covered cranberries. I think I need more for this weekend! :silly: )Jules~
