    Thanks, Margo! That does look like a much more manageable way to do things, particularly when working by hand.

    I wonder if there's a way to do that for a quilt top being set on point?? The directions show assembling rows; I'll have to look and see if it can't be done in quadrants or sections.

    I do plan to "practice" on two other projects before I actually assemble the diary quilt top, so at least I'll have the chances to work out any mistakes before hand! And I did find a local quilt shop, so I will have some "back-up" if I need it, assuming I can sort out quilting vocabulary in Portuguese!

      Heather, using the TQS "Find a Member" search function (under THE FORUM on the purple bar) I see that we have 11 members living in Portugal!

      All you have to do is type "Portugal" in the search box and click Submit! Is that cool or what!! Check their profiles and see if any live near you or send some of them a private message and see if they can at least help you with the translation!
