Learn Finishing Techniques and How to Quilt Your Garments with Kris Vierra
(Show 2905) Kris Vierra wants to take the fear out of quilting when it comes to free-motion quilting, quilted garments and finishing your quilts. After a show and tell of her quilts, she’s off and running to teach you simple tricks for trimming and squaring a quilt using tools from the hardware store. Then Kris shares ways to approach the ‘quilt as desired’ fear many quilters have. Kris is also a master when it comes to creating quilted garments, which she shows us some samples of and talks about ways to flatter your figure when making the garment. And last but not least, in a fun After Set, Kris plays a jaunty tune on a fiddle her father made.
