Starting yesterday, I began having a problem with View my Posts and View Posts since my last visit. I keep getting an error message saying that I'm searching too soon and should try back later. This happened even after I had been logged off overnight. Is anyone else having this problem?Tags: None

Nancy, send a note to GuruBob through the CONTACT link on the top purple bar. For some reason "view posts since last visit" has NEVER worked for me....so I always use "view my posts", and sometimes I get that message too, but have never gotten it after the 'puter was off for a while. Check with Bob!

I wanted to see if it was just a problem for me before I reported it to Bob, the guru. I just got my PC back from HP repair and am in the process of restoring everything, so I thought it might be something affecting only me. However, it has always worked in the past and did work the first couple of times I got into the forum after getting my PC repaired. I can't imagine what would be causing this problem for some and not others, but I know it's possible that it's related to something different in my PC settings.

When you figure out what it is, please post a note here for the rest of us who are having issues! I'm sure mine is either with the way my laptop is configured or with my AOL connections, which has caused problems in other areas, too.

Nancy, that happens to me when I come to the Forum directly after reading comments posted on the Daily Blog. I started waiting until the Forum page was completely loaded before I did the "view posts since last time" thing. That has made the problem disappear for me. I had to just slow down, not an easy thing for me to do.

HOLY MOLEY!! Thank you so much JoAnne!!! That worked for me!! Ever since the beginning, I rushed to the forum and "posts since last visit" would never work. Today I clicked on the forum but didn't check anything. I went on to read the Member Blogs and when I came back to the forum IT WORKED!! WHOO-HOO!!!
Big hug to you! I'm gonna send a note to GuruBob so he can tell others that ask about it! IT'S A NEW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hopeful that you were on to the source of my problem, but unfortunately I'm still getting the problem even after rebooting the PC and waiting for the forum to completely load. There's probably a glitch in the software and/or my PC settings. If it continues to be a bother, I'll refer it to Bob the guru.
Thanks,
Nancy
