Thanks, Rosemary--sounds like a plan!!!!   I watched Yvonne Porcella's episode last night and again a few minutes ago. I'm ready to go! Too bad I don't have any scraps with fusible. But, I guess I could take a bunch of scraps and slap them on a sheet of steam-a-seam, use some and save some for another face...

Ok, how about assembling it last thing at night, 15 minutes to get everything into place and your not allowed to change it when you come to sew it down in the morning (well not much anyway  ) Tight time limits to 'get 'er done' might work instead. But the bead/button chucking rule still applies!

You lot crack me up. It's a good thing Nancy doesn't drink or she'd be on the floor incapable of any sewing and ironing bits of fabric to the underside of the table. Chocolate now you're talking that'll induce a trance
If you get to enjoy doing it I've got another project that you can enjoy letting go with

Rits it's a fun class I went to by Hilary Beattie to make a silhouette that you place on a randomly fused background.
Then you machine or hand embroider on it add lace, sari silk more scraps anything. I'll post a picture of the quilt I did on the day and another afterwards for a friend and I'll find the link to Hilarys website where you can see her work, the mess we made on the day and others in my groups work.
Really good fun. The chocvoc could help 8)
