Yvonne Porcella. If you watched the Ami Simms show you would have seen the next show advertised at about the 24-25 minute spot. It was quick so you have to be paying attention.

I have a book by Yvonne Porcella. Does that make me a groupie?? I bet that'll be a very special and interesting show!

Well shoot, I must be living under a rock because I hadn't heard of Ms. Porcella until now. I love how TQS exposes me to all these quilting greats!

A phenomenal, ahead of her time quilt great! Looking forward to her tribute. To find out about great quilters, when I see winners listed from major shows, I google them to see more of their work - there is never a "one hit wonder" LOL. A lot of great talent out there. I think Yvonne Porcella was more well-known through the 80's when she was truly a ground-breaker. Thanks for bringing her back to the spotlight!

WOW... I must say that this was my favorite show of 2010. Ms. Porcella was a delight to watch and get to know. I loved each and every part of the show and plan on watching it again and again. Thank you so much for introducing me to such an amazing, inspirational, and strong woman. She is indeed worthy of the title Quilting Legend and more.

I have just returned from my family Christmas in Las Vegas and only this morning watched the "Quilting Legend" show. I am still sitting at the computer thinking this was the best show I have seen to date.....Yvonne Porcella is truly an inspiration to quilters. I love her attitude and grace with facing her cancer issues....thats the way to conquer this disease. Her style of quilting is free and easy and shows her spirit. Thank you TQS for bringing her to us this year.

I watched this show yesterday and agree it was wonderful, I just didn't want it to end. She is truly an inspiration to my quilting and also the way I live my life.
