    Show 406 Ricky's challenge

Is anyone doing the challenge based on the method Ricky's used in his quilt on show 406. I know I'm in? My week has been busy designing my quilt using EQ6. I'm doing a lot of paper piecing and don't know how it will come out.

I will, but right now to many babies are on there way so I must sew sew sew. That was a great show I loved the way David is comfortable in his own box, I think maybe we all just need to get a little more comfortable in our own boxes and not someone else's.......Jean in Kenosha, Wi and its warming up here

Hey! I've gotten a few emails with questions - like, "Is applique' allowed?" Certainly, as long as the basis of the quilt - and the image - is based on the grid system. I'm also working on a new quilt with the grid. Can't wait to see what you all do!

I am in and this really sounds fun. Got to get through getting ready for MQS first before I start.

If I get time, I really want to try this. Ricky's segment of this show discussing how and why he made his grid quilt was my favorite part of the show. The segment really inspired me to want to try it, but like all quilters, I have about a million ideas floating around in my head. Also, I have quite a few of UFO's that I need to complete.
