I think we might break 7000 this week! Maybe we should start a pool for the count on 'Go Live Day', April 2nd - everybody has to send the winner a FQ  .

          Hi gang,

Yes - Ricky should write the anthem, but with his busy schedule we shouldn't hold our breath.

and to think we topped 21,000 this weekend! Whoo Hoo!!

BUT-- still under 7000 quilts posted! That means there's over 100,000 EMPTY spaces waiting for images!

So, I'm curious, if you haven't posted your quilts at all, or only some, why not? It was discussed that they don't have to be quilts YOU've made, and they don't even have to be quilts, they could be quilted placemats, purses, etc., I think they've been very liberal in the "definition" (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!). Or are technical issues the holdup-- no digital camera? slow upload connection? something else? :?:
It's just that there are so many helpful folks on here that someone could probably come up w/ a solution for you, and we LOVE looking at the gallery!
So, if you've just procrastinated, well, no time like the present- if it's something else, let us know why!

The only reason I have not posted anymore quilts is that my digital camera is currently MIA. That said, I have taken pictures with my film camera, but I am one of those people who thows the rolls in a jar until I get to them and then gets side tracked. I know I took finished pictures of Dad's quilt (shown on the frame in my personal pics) and several others, I just don't know which rolls they are on  As I get the rolls developed I am getting the pictures on disk, so as soon as I find my quilt roll I will have pictures.

I don't have pictures of most of the stuff I have done and the rest are in a box somewhere waiting to be excavated in some future archeological dig! Maybe now that I have gone digital I will remember to take pics?

                            Carla,
I asked the tech staff that question today. It is now on your "My account" page. I can't remember the last time I looked at that page, I'd rather have it on the home page where I can see it everytime I log on.

I wonder if it's because of the ads on the sidebar. As more ads appear, more of the other stuff may have to go.
                              Just a thought.
