    Cut Work Tool

Does anyone out there in TQS Land have any experience using it? i got mine a little while ago and am finding that the cut isn't very clean and after the cutting the fabric is shifting a bit. Can you recommend a good stabilizer for doing the CutWork? Any other tips?
To tell you the truth I bought the embroidery unit for my 440 so I could use the Cut Work Tool so my learning curve is just a little steeper than if I already knew how to embroider.

    Thanks

I was hoping some of my American friends had this tool, because it came out there a year before Canada. I will continue to muddle through with the other newbies at my LQS.

I just took my first Cutwork Tool class yesterday. Basic instructions since those attending just got our tool. Stabilizer we were told to use is Fast and Fuse to each layer of fabric, then hoop on a "crisp" stabilizer like Stabil-Stick (all products of OESD). Instructor told us to plan our designs with some space between designs for best cutting results (held her fingers about 1-2 inches apart). Her thought is "I'd rather lose a little fabric/stabilizer as waste and get better cuts then have bad cuts" which makes sense to me. When we did lettering we left spacing as it came on the screen, use previous spacing instruction when adding additional designs. Hope this helps you. I'm excited to play with this tool more.
