tech support must have gotten quite a few emails from unhappy members, but I got a reply very quickly and is now resolved.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do some tutorials on how and why to navigate this site. I am sure I'm not the only one having trouble, it would be very helpful.
Sharon in, dang its cold, Colorado
P.S. Will be going to the TQS taping on Monday with Nancy Rehak, woohoo.

Even one newsletter a week would be okay with me as I don't receive any and haven't for some time despite ticking the box I was supposed to. Is it because I is Irish?
Also, I tried to post a photo to the 2014 BOM Show and Tell but there is no way to do it. I guess that's going to get sorted pretty soon too?
Renata, I agree with you about the privacy settings, I am not happy to have everything viewable by the public even though I have adjusted all my settings to members of TQS only.
John, I really appreciate your corresponding with us, it makes a big difference. Thank you. :cheer: :cheer:

Dear John! Or should that be 'Dearest John'?!
I very much appreciate all the hard work that must have gone on behind the scenes over the last months in order to create this new site. Thank you very much!
Just one plea from an average quilter in her 60s, with average intelligence, and some basic knowledge of computing: Please, keep it simple!
For me personally, the Forum is most important. And linked to that, the ability to privately contact members quickly and easily.
If you are ever in the UK (and that goes for Bob as well), the drinks are on me.
And now I better go and struggle a little more with this new site. From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

I liked the newsletters...but like you I lost 'em a while back....Irish...Idahoan..Hummmmmmm? :S
Same notion here re: Privacy stuff....why a choice if it' meaningless? I'm really a computer novice
and wish for simplicity ..not multiple entrys and same info in more than one place...I know...patience !
Log in doesn't work the same all the time!...Patience !

Do you mean that you don't have to click 'login' every time you come come onto TQS? It is remembering my email and my password but I still have to login. I am also finding that sometimes even when I have logged out I am still logged in when I come back next time - other times I am not. It does not seem to be consistent.

I've just come on from my mail ..Windows Live Mail...by clicking on the notification....no log-in....but the
notification gives me the whole message anyway....wouldn't have to come on to know what's there/here...
part of the redundancy I mention somewhere before  .....Nice not to have to log-in every time. I check by clicking on a show to make sure sometimes !
