I'm in love!
Yup, absolutely totally in love!
Wow, Renata, you sooooooo hit the spot!
When I came home tonight, I just had a few minutes to run upstairs, bring in the shopping and run... Then the hailstorm started... No running... Instead I stood in the balcony doorway with an open mouth and getting very very wet! So stunned... We had hailstones the size of walnuts! And there were people out on the road! Luckily it only lasted the usual ten minutes or so, then a bout of heavy rain, and I could finally go...
On the way out I peeked into the mailbox.... A large yellow envelope... Gotta see this... So I grabbed the enveloped, checked over poor Fidelius (he'd been standing outside in the hailstorm, but didn't seem to have been damaged, will have to take a better look tomorrow in proper light, just in case), and off to my friend Claudia's for dinner.
Hello everyone, sorry ladies, just have to open this envelope first, my MugRug number four has arrived and I just have to see it right now....
They all oohed and aaaaahed and I'm thunderstruck...
Oh, I'm in love... Check out these wonderfully fabulous beach huts
And the back
Thank You, Renata!
I'm doing the happy happy happy dance (in my mind anyway - doctors orders to keep all activities that make my knee work to a minimum for the next month or two)
And here' the good contents of my mailbox today (you won't be interested in the junkmail, newspapers and the bills)
Yup, to top it off, the June issue of TQL was also in the mailbox, yeahhhhhh!
This is absolutely wonderful!
Can't wait to show it off at the office tomorrow!!!Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Forgot to say, but I was sewing on one of my mug rugs at the dinner table at Claudia's tonight... Great friends don't mind me sewing between courses, and during the chatter... Keeps me off e booze... (My hands are too busy sewing to have time to bring a wineglass to my lips - also works great for snacks - especially sticky ones). Now is it that they're concerned for my safety driving home, or because there's more for them?Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Oh, Lotti, you made ME jump up and down with joy to read your posting! I am so glad you like it. I just saw the picture below... guess what? I like it too!   It's so funny, I don't remember exactly what I was doing when it happened, but in my mind I thought of you and saw beach huts. I also remembered the class I took with Gloria Loughman and used her basic technique to put the pieces together, it went smoothly, quickly and I had a blast doing it. Now I'm even happier because you are happy!!! :P

However, Lotti, I want to know about e booze. Is that like, related to e mail and e books? If so, we're in trouble.
Renata, you made me yearn for the beach! Dang cold weather here, but not complaining, the sky is blue.

Loved the beach huts. And your copy of The Quilt Life made me remember to renew my subscription. I didn't get that issue. I was waiting for it to end because I want to get in on my iPad. I am loving having that stuff with me where ever I go. Have a good day everyone. It wont' be long until we are all heading to the beach in this part of the world. Been quilting and quilting and quilting on my GMFG quilt. It's not the best work but I am learning oh so much. Pictures soon.

I'm still trying to figure that one out... e booze. No, not really a concept that works for me!
My iPad is constantly doing these misspellings and faulty corrections for me, for some wired reason it seems to be obeying my typing fingers instead of what is flowing from my mind... And without Steve Jobs I'm afraid that apple won't get the mind reading capabilities of their iThings into proper functioning mode... Am still waiting for that update though!
As for our little outing with the TQS Jet... I'm packing!Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

What a wonderful mug rug Lotti and Renata. I had to laugh when I saw Renata's comment. Tells me you were in the creating zone when you made that rug. For me it's like waking up when I see things afterwards, because I don't exactly remember, what I did.
Well, Renata, yours will soon be on its way
