I'll be there, Limbania for you (birthday?) party. I agree, don't clean up first.

Just received a Dickie Bird mug rug from Robyn in SA! Thanks Robyn, I LOVE it! Cutest little Dickie Bird!

Will post pics soon! How exciting! I have now received two (both bird themed), made one and a half, and have sent none yet!
      But who's counting?

I will be there as well for your birthday party Limbania and definitely don't clean up as it would be too much of a shock to my system to see a clean house at the moment

Maureen - that last statement says a LOT about how you're feeling. Hope you get back up to speed soon.

Must have been some pretty weird drugs they gave you. Makes you feel worse than what you went for the drugs for in the first place. :?

Ritzy - it's so happy. Isn't it fun to open the mail and find a MR?!

Great work, Lois. You were wise to do your practise on the mug rugs. Smart.

You asked about the whole cloth in the background of my mug rug from Norma. Well it's a class project that is complete except for binding--what you saw is the back but a picture of the front is below. The class was a 5 day retreat sponsored by M's Quilt Shop here in Wickenburg. Instructor was Cindy Needham, and the class was wonderful. It was so nice to be able to go to something close to home but where we could spend the whole day just learning and sewing. She does have a class on the Craftsy site that I purchased just so that I could review whenever I wanted to. I had never done anything like this before but with Cindy's handouts, written instruction book and demonstrations it was a delight

Jane, after seeing your beautiful quilting I check out Cindy's class on Craftsy and they are having a special 50% off so I signed up. Can't wait to learn more. Also, Jan Krantz's class on Diamond quilts was on special. Boy do I have a lot of studying to do, love it!!! Visited M's Quilt Shop last year with some friends from Phx, lovely little shop. Wished I'd known about Cindy's class back then.

Well, I wasn't at Limbania's the last time you folks got together but if mug ruggers are invited--I'll be there.

                      Goodie another party at Limbania's

Will we be needing quantities of pork products to throw on the barby?

Sue - anthing that is easy to open is a good place to start.

Maureen - I am with you on seeing a clean house - although I think that I must be feeling unwell because I scrubbed the kitchen unit doors and washed the kitchen floor this morning  The sewing room is still in it's usual state, so things are not too bad

                      Lois - pretty mug rug.

]Lovely hexagon mug rug Lois. Wonderful bright colors to help wake up in the morning with a great cup of coffee or tea.

Was back to Williams to clean, sort and put away some more and guess what--there in the mail was a mug rug from Connie. It was just what I needed to cheer me up. Had to take the picture with my phone as the camera battery is dead and wanted to share right away. Thank you so very much Connie. Don't think I can actually use any of these to set anything on--they're all too pretty!

Good wishes, Limbania...I'll be at the party too.

And Lotti, timing is everything. Hope you get to enjoy the visit with family and friends.

Will we be needing quantities of pork products to throw on the barby?

Alright, Rosemary, you've got to explain this one! "Pork Product" sounds too much like hot dogs to me, and no idea what a barby is, unless you meant "Barbie", as in the doll> So why throw hot dogs at a Barbie doll? Eccentric Brits, I'd say!! Would make for a strange party

Lovely Mug Rug, Jane. Like your stitching, Connie!

Connie, what a beautiful mug rug! Lucky you, Jane! Really like what you did with the fabrics to create the beautiful butterfly and definitely like the stitching of the butterfly's path! The colors are perfect too Just love it!
