Oh, man! Are we all in for a huge treat! I just finished a 2 day class with Susan Else at Alden Lane which was absolutely fabulous! She is a wonderful teacher and...drumroll....she has a show coming up for us in October!! I just can't say enough about how quirky and fun her view of the world is. There were only 8 people in the class, which made it very wonderful for us all, but I don't think she will ever again be able to have a class this small once she is introduced to The Quilt Show community. You're going to love her! :!:

Need to finish a little bit, but a quirky palm tree (bright and so fun) and a beast of uncertain origin. I was really tickled 'cause she is so encouraging and excited by what everyone does. Made me feel like I could be a bit of an artist after all~
especially in the wonky, imaginative world we created. I no longer only sew flat!! I'll take pictures when I finish.

Charae, I have admired Susan Else's quirky, artistic figures for several years. They really are unique.

About mug rugs........ Within a couple of weeks I have three little guys who are going to look for a new home. Does anybody want to adopt one? They will have all the necessary shots, are healthy, house-trained, and easy to look after. So far they have no bad habits, and it'll be up to you if you introduce them to orange juice, coffee, tea, wine, or single malt.

I would like to adopt one, Lorchen! They all sound wonderful, but if you'd want me to choose I think I'd take "Tweety".

                            Thanks!

                                Hi Lorchen,

I'd love to swap mug rugs with you! I'll take "Demeter" if you think she will like it here in California and soon to be Washington State!

Email me your snail mail address so I can ship you a mug rug too.

                                Thanks!!
