In search of fun ideas for a quilt guild party in December

Hello Friends! I am the newly appointed program director for my quilt guild. I'm doing a fair job scheduling presenters each month (booked through March!) The struggle comes with planning a holiday party for my guild. What fun activities do you recommend for a guild?
    Thank you! Kristen

Kristen, The Right/Left Christmas gift exchange is a fun one. The game begins with people sitting in a circle holding their
own gifts. Then someone reads a story or poem with lots of the words" right" and "left" in it. You do what the word says, pass
the gift you have to the right or to the left. When you get to the end. You open the gift you ended up with. You could
write a story about what the members of your guild was doing the past year, or just pull an example off a google search.
We have done it several times.Fun!!! HelenW

The group I was in brought needed items for the local women's shelter in lieu of gifts. I liked being able to help out that way vs a game and getting a random gift. The organizer checked on their needs. I remember bringing batteries even. Needed but an extra expense for those tight on funds.

We also bring cash or specific food items for the local food pantry.
