I emailed Lotti the other day and this was her reply - I am sure she won't mind me sharing it with y'all -
"we've found out that my slip on the ice in january 2013 did quite a bit more damage than anyone had thought - i'll be getting a partial knee replacement on 11 december...
just got back from medica (our largest exhibition - something over 400m2 plus another 100m2 in form of a second story) on sunday afternoon. now to clear up everything at work - get budget 2015 settled - and get myself organized for surgery and some time out of the office (or in mobile office in hospital/at home).
as i'll be in hospital for about a week - i hope to finally get back to TQS - catch up on the shows and get into the chat
i'll be going to therapy regularly till end january - and will be home till anywhere from end december to end january - depending on how things go
hopefully will be able to sew soon
otherwise lot's of hand-sewing still to do on my hexie-quilt.
i'll be around soon
thank you for thinking of me - and i'll be around soon
big hugs and smiles to all

A big Thank You to everybody who has posted updates on Margo, Lotti and Limbania. Very happy to hear that Margo and Lotti are OK and sincerely hope that Limbania will get through this set-back to her recovery as soon as possible. Thinking a lot about her and everybody else who have health problems themselves or in their family.
Been out of circulation myself for a week and cannot get around the forum reading as quickly as I used to with all the problems on the site. I will spend my time quilting and piecing for a while and check back maybe in the new year to see if the dust has settled and everything works then. Even the link posted on the blog for the star coasters doesn't work. Lots of gremlins around.
Thanks again to the posters in this topic who has been in touch with the "missing" members

So good to see some familiar faces and names. I really miss the member blogs. Are they going to come back sometime, or not. This is a good way to keep in touch. I am friends with Margo on Facebook and she is posting regularly. I just rejoined for next year. Haven't done a BOM since Stars For a New Day. I made two wall quilts out of that and interchange them on my living room wall. I am having trouble navigating through this new web site, but will eventually get used to it. I hope. :SFrom the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood
