Happy Birthday, Lorchen and Happy Mother's Day to all who are mothers or haved mothered children not their own. Love is too precious to keep to yourself, it grows when you share. Today I got a beautiful bouquet of roses from DD and DGD, a phone call yesterday from DS, a nice lunch with DD, her SO and then a very beautiful card from the ex son in law who considers me a special mom (and grandma). He is such a special man who may have left the "marriage package" but didn't leave the "family" so I am truly a Happy Camper (Mother). Hugs, Ann (outside Chicago for the next two weeks.)

Hi Everybody, By the time I checked in here Mother's Day was over, but Happy Mother's Day anyway. My son sent me flowers and my daughter called. My husband is away right now but I went out to dinner with my four grown nieces and their families. They treated me to dinner. There were seventeen of us altogether six whom are under 9 years of age. It was a lively bunch let me tell you. Happy Belated Birthday, Lorchen. I also taught a Sunday School Class, mowed the grass, took a nap, and then I quilted for a few hours. It was a good day!
