For what it's worth, I LUV PSE!! I use the program a lot with a Wacom Bamboo Touch & Pen Tablet to draw quilting designs on photos of quilts to help me decide how to do the quilting. It's a great tool, but I needed to take a class to figure out how to use it. Here is a sample of a quilt of mine that has been "whispered" by Carla Barrett.

Margo, I bought the Wacom Bamboo touch pad when I took a "Quilt Whisperer" class on MQR. Mine came with 2 CD's, one of which was the photoshop program. There were no instructions so I have never really been able to use my tablet or the photoshop. It is not self-explanatory. Any ideas for a resource? I've wanted to tackle learning this tool but I do not have the basics. Terri

Check with Carla Barrett at Step On Pins for on-line classes, but I don't know when she will be offering PSE again.

In the meantime, look for the book http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photosho...463&sr=1-5
Be sure to get the edition that is specifically for your version of PSE.

Wow Margo! I am ALWAYS impressed by your work. And THANK YOU for focusing me toward Step On Pins because I have so far taken everything they had available and learned a TON. Much of what I learned translated to other drawing packages I have also that do things PE does not, so now I use my Wacom tablet with three drawing packages together for my design work, but a lot of my understanding started with what I learned from Step On Pins. Carla is going to run a quilt whispering in the fall I see. They might be willing to re-run the basic Adobe PE basic class if enough people asked--well worth it.
