    For 1 day only!!

And you can blame Margo, who dared me to change my avatar. So, here is my 'alter ego', a German cartoon from the 1960s and with my name on. It'll be gone again by tomorrow night. I don't want to offend anybody. But I'm sure that some of you will get a giggle out of it.

And, Margo, this is what happens when you dare me!!!

Well, I just had to go to your profile so I could make the picture bigger so I could REALLY see it. She is a bit on the racey side! Thanks for the giggle!

I like the long blond hair, not so sure about the rest of it. Glad it's just for 1 day! I found a quilt with my name on it awhile back, printed it out thinking if I live long enough I might duplicate it but probably not. It's in the Wisconsin Decorative Arts Database, "Figured and fancy" coverlet made for Annis Clapp, Dutchess, New York, 1834. No relation of course because that's my married name but thought it was cool since I have an unusual name.

Annis, if you ever run out of ideas, you should make that quilt.

By the way, temperatures here have dropped well below freezing, so my Avatar will go to somewhere warmer soon.

I think that's pretty cool too Annis. And it's a wonderful coverlet, I just had a look at it. It sits right at the heart of the industrial revolution and expresses those very values in its quotation. Thanks for sharing. Rita.
