    Quilting Buddy

I am looking for a quilting buddy(ies). I live in Nashville, Tennessee and can't seem to make the chapter meetings that happen during weekdays when I am working. I am looking for someone who I can share my interest in all things quilting with. Anyone in this area?

Deborah, if you don't find someone locally to play with, you can always find inspiration and information right here!

Check out the Quilt Gallery and the Member Blogs and the Forum and the BOM. You are bound to find kindred spirits, and you don't have to leave home to play!

I belong to two local quilt guilds, and I have to say TQS is the best "guild" of all.

        Hi Debora,

Glad to meet you! You have some lovely quilts on your profile. TQS is a wonderful place to gather and I will bet you a fat quarter that you will find a person that lives by you here as well. I know this because I found several folks here that live in Oregon and Washington and Montana. One person lives only about 20 minutes from me (Terry Knott) and she was the person that introduced me to a Vancouver quilt guild that meets monthly.

So start blogging on the member section and make a shout out to other TN folks! I'll be watching as your friends grow both locally and internationally here at TQS.

Debora - I just did a quick search for TQS members from Nashville, and found there are 20 of you. If you click on The Forum on the top purple bar, then click on Find a Member under Search the Site, you can enter search criteria. I entered Nashville under city and TN under state. You can then click on a member profile that interests you, and even send a private e-mail using Contact This Member on the lower left portion of their profile page. Have fun getting locally connected!
