Fons and Porter Rotary Cutter
I am in the mood to buy a new rotary cutter and was looking at the Fons and Porter Rotary cutter today at Joanns (50%coupons should not be wasted) I like the soft grip handle. Has anyone used this brand? I had a hard time seeing how the blade is retracted. My favorite is my old gray Fiskers, so I bought a cute pink Fiskers a few years ago (pink is cute), but if I push too hard the blade pops back in. Anyway - I would appreciate any comments or reviews of the F&P cutterTags: None

Regarding the Fiskars rotary cutter, I've not had the blade pop back in and that's my favorite cutter. It sounds like something is wrong with the locking thing on it. I've used mine to cut thousands of pieces of fabric. I'd call the company if I were you. I've called them with problems with their scissors and they're quite helpful.Originally posted by Quilter321I am in the mood to buy a new rotary cutter and was looking at the Fons and Porter Rotary cutter today at Joanns (50%coupons should not be wasted) I like the soft grip handle. I just looked, online, at the Fons & Porter rotary cutter and the Omnigrid cutter. Except for the color they look the same to me. I might just use my 50% coupon and get one to try it. Maybe I don't need that Kaffe Fassett book I have my eye on.
I think Nina is correct, it is against the law to not use those 50% off coupons! I'm going to share that information with my DH! He needs to know about this law! My kids got me a gift card from JoAnn's so I have to go spend it tomorrow. That's a law too, isn't it?
