    Making flying geese

Can anyone remember the measurements of the pieces of fabric which Ricky used to make the half square triangles the British way please? I cannot find the episode in which he demonstrated it.

You can use any measurements you would like. All you have to remember is that your rectangle will be the same width as your squares, and a half inch shorter than two times the size of the width. Example, if your squares measure 4 inches unsewn, then your rectangle will measure 4 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches long. If the squares are 2 inches , the rectangle will be 3 1/2 inches long.

You're very welcome. I've demoed this for my quilt guild, and at our quilt show last year, and will do it again in February for the Corpus Christi quilt show, to spread the word on what a neat technique this is. Thanks, Ricky!
