The little buildings didn't appeal to me, but I had the ruler already from a previous project. When I saw on their website a quilt made of cars, that spoke to me. I have a whole box of my late husband's shirts that I had cut up to make a quilt. Even after making the quilt and teddy bears for everyone in the family, I have -lots- of cut and starched fabric left. He was a car guy, so I'm going to make a bunch of the cars and put them together. These look so complex, but come out so nice. Dee, your coaching and going through the pattern has been invaluable.

I applaud Dee for attempting this quilt on camera, with limited space due to the camera plus she is talking to her audience. I purchased the pattern and ruler hoping to make it either in the heat/ humidity of summer or in the snowy/icy days of winter. I am learning I will definately need to concentrate when cutting the curve pieces . I’m making notes from Dee, and will practice the cuts on scraps of fabric. Thanks Dee.

Off to a slow start, but catching up! Using fabrics from my stash and having lots of fun. Really appreciate the demos and tips as there is a lot to pay attention to in this pattern. But, fun, fun, fun......
