I saw this machine at the Paducah quilt show and I loved it.
Its a nice machine it has a pretty big embroidery hoop size. They had it on sale, It ran so smooth. Huge embroidery patterns.

What Damaris didn't tell you was that she bought her wonderful machine from JoJo Since JoJo has her professional embroidery machine and a Bernina for her sewing, she wasn't using her Viking. Last year I met Damaris and we went to JoJo's for a lovely visit and tour of her studio. She is an amazing woman - very smart and talented! Wish I lived closer - I could learn so much from her!

Okay, so the secret is out!! I knew from the first day that I met JoJo that she was an amazing teacher!! She gave me an awesome opportunity I could not pass up!! And the machine came with ONE OF EVERYTHING!! Every accessory you could imagine!! And Sherry is right, JoJo's studio is BEAUTIFUL!!

Did I miss the tutorials for the machine embroidery? Was it too difficult to organize when there is such a difference in machines and software. I would be interested to see just basic information that would be relevant to all e.g. hooping and stabalising, hope it may still be possible.

I've only done one video so far. I have lots of of ideas for more tutes as soon as I can make them. Since I started working two jobs, my free time has dwindled away substantially.

Thanks for the gentle push. I will try to put something together on hooping and stablizer next.

Where can we find this video?? Even though I have been embrodierying for some time, it doesn't hurt to review the basics.

                                Happy Wednesday everyone.

I promised to provide more information about the magna glide bobbins that I so love.

If you have a machine that has a drop in bobbin (Pfaff, Viking and others), you will want to get a bobbin called a "Clear Glide." Because your bobbin area is made up of plastic parts, a magnetic bobbin really does you no good. However, the Clear Glide will work great for you. It has clear, plastic sides and tons of yardage on them. I understand that those of you that have bobbin sensors will love this bobbin too.

If you have a rotary type bobbin area (Bernina and others that have a metal bobbin case), you will want to order the "Magna bobbins." I really can't say enough good things about these bobbins. I buy hundreds at a time because of my embroidery business.

Longarm quilters are just learning about these bobbins too and from what I've heard from the manufacturer, the word is out and spreading about how wonderful they are.

They are available in many colors also. Although I stick to white and black unless I have something that will show on both sides (like lace) and then I match the top and bottom.
