The blocks are set on point. An 8” block is about 11.33” on point so the quilt is 34” square.

Learning to design
How do I get those little doodles I do translated into a quilt? Many classes are given teaching us technical sewing skills and little taught about design. Well I'm going to learn from one of the best. I am signed up for "Pixels to Pizzaz" with Caryl Fallert in her Paducha studio this coming May. No sewing machines, no fabric, just four days of design. Woo Hoo!!! heaven for me. We will be learning our way around the Corel Draw program. I have ways I use Corel but it is such a multipurpose program I know I will expand my use after this class.
I would love to have some other TQS members join the classes there. The more the merrier and it would be great to meet some of you. Look up Caryl's website and plan a trip to Paducha. See you in the spring. Betty Ann in Fl.Tags: None

Learning to design is such an exciting skill because it allows you to create unique and amazing things. While exploring new ideas, I also came across trend essay topics 2025, which can help inspire creative designs based on current and future themes. This course seems like a great way to start learning the basics and growing your skills step by step. I'm excited to see how much I can improve.
