All Caught Up
Hi everyone. Well I just posted all my blocks for January through June. Just in time for the July block to appear. I didn't know if I could catch up but it went really well once I received my fabric and prepared it for cutting and sewing. I found that each month I got a little more precise and was matching everything a lot better. By the time we all get through with this years blocks we should all be professionals...LOL. It has really been quite a challenge but I think I am living up to it all.
I didn't get started on the blocks until the second week in May, so I am really proud to have been able to catch up.
Waiting for tomorrow to see whats next.
PS I noticed after I had taken the picture that one of my HST blocks had a reversed portion on the left side and am correcting it. Thanks to a member for the personal email. Much appreciated.

Beautiful blocks, Nan! I've got to get busy on mine, but life has been VERY hectic lately! BTW, my 9th grandchild was born yesterday--Ryan Lucas, 9 lbs., 22" long!!! I've been babysitting his 1 yr. old sister while Mom & Dad were at the hospital--I don't DARE use needles or pins at their house, I'm so afraid I might drop one! Judy in Torrance

I would like to thank everyone for the encouraging comments on my BOM's. Also to say congratulations Judy and I know you will enjoy this little. I have 11 granchildren and 7 great grandchildren. I don't get to see them often enough because of parents working and very busy. But at least once a year I get to see all but two of them as they live to far away.
Thanks again to everyone. Nan in sunny Massena. Hope it stays all day for a change.

Great job Nan, for getting all caught up, don't know how you did it. Thankfully I've been able to stay caught up, of course haven't done a darn thing since I printed it out yesterday, and heading to Dallas first thing the morning, so it'll have to wait until I get home. Happy 4th to you and your family. Heidi, Spring, TX

Well, I feel truly blessed that I'm not the only one who is playing catch up! Here it is June 30th. and I have 2 star blocks to finish..and hurrah! I did it. I was seeing star in my eyes..I thougth I would never get them finished. I'm really happy that July is the last star block assembly. Oh! did I tell you, I'm packing and moving in a week, going to take some boxes to the new house on the weekend and my hubby told me I have to give up my sewing and cutting table..I'm hanging onto them with dear life..what me..can't sew!..can't live without it LOL!, so I told him , I was going to sew in the construction zone if I had too !!!...wish me luck in finishing July's blocks.. can't wait to get into my new sewing room!

I everyone...well, I have to put my July block on hold..cause I'm moving into my newly built house. I have most of my sewing room set up except my mid-arm machine and frame. My computer will be the last to go over on Friday, so hopefully I can get started..cause it's just killin' me to not be able to sew LOL! Oh! did I tell you, I have company arriving on Sunday..so I guess I'll be doing July and August blocks together..

I just posted my June and July border star blocks on Show and Tell. June was done last month, just no picture taken. July's got finished today, since I was doing other things and just had to finish 2 of the blocks today. So I am all up to date. Now waiting for August 1st, and see how next month goes.

Hi there, I too am caught up and finished on July 15, I'm too scared that I won't finish this beautiful quilt if I don't keep up with it monthly. It's the first thing I do every month, print it out, then just work on every evening for an hour or whatever time I have to devote to it. Can't wait until this one is done, as it'll be a "beaut" Heidi
