International Quilt Show in Long Beach CA. Going???

Anyone going to the IQS in Long Beach July 24-26, 2009? Will TQS have a booth? I am going with my quilting buddy Sandy and have several classes scheduled. Can't wait!
Anyone have a quilt in this show? Let me know so I can go see it. If you are going...lets plan to meet and chat.

I'm hoping to be back from vacation by then. I missed last year's show due to surgery, so I hope to see it this year. If I'm back, I'd love to meet up with you. Judy in Torrance

I'll be there. If Superior has a booth we could have a "TQS drop in" at 1 pm. each day.

      Anyone interested?

TQS "drop in" at the Superior Threads booth at Quilt Festival in Long Beach? Sounds good to me! I'll be doing the white glove thing on Saturday and selling tickets for my guild's opportunity quilt.

Barbara, all I can say is "sold!" I always buy Opportunity Quilt tickets. Maybe I'll even win one someday! Will your guild be selling tickets on Saturday? That's the day my guild will be doing so.

JoAnne, my guild is in Alabama--so I'm the only one selling at LB--I'm in charge of our show so I have to set the example, right?

I asked Alex if TQS was going to have a booth this year at the Long Beach show and she replied that they don't have one, but that John was planning to be there sometime during the week...unsure as to what day right now...to keep in touch. I said we had been talking about and planning to meet at the Superior Threads booth at 1:00 each day (lunchtime for those of us taking classes) I will keep in touch with her as promised. Meeting up in person is such a good idea....fun! See you there.

I'll be there on Saturday, my white glove duty starts at 1:30 so I'll be at the Superior Threads booth at 1 or a little earlier. I am really looking forward to meeting you if you're going to be there at that time, Karen (KakeM) and Barbara (bbquiltmaker).

Barbara, I want to buy tickets for your guild's opportunity quilt. You said that you will be the only one selling tickets for your guild at LB. Which day will you be selling? I am only going on Saturday.
