    Oopps I used wrong fabric

I have the 2009 fabric kit and just realised that I cut the setting triangles from the green paisley and should have used the large floral. I am up to making the border before sewing the pinwheels on. Should I use the floral for this instead of the green paisley as in the instructions. I am worried that I won't have enough green paisley down the track.

Lorraine, I'm not sure how much fabric was sent in the kits. I'll ask Sue what she thinks, and get back to you.

Lorraine, this is what Sue said:

Don’t worry that you cut the setting triangles from the green paisley. You have two choices, and it’s up to you:

-- Leave the paisley as the setting triangles; later, if you run out of the green paisley, you can just substitute the large green floral to the extent required.

-- Replace the paisley with the green floral. You should still have enough paisley to do what you need for the rest of the quilt if you use the paisley from the triangles when it is called for in your piecing

Thank you for checking this with Sue for me. I will go with the second option as I don't want to unpick something that is looking so good. I do like the paisley setting triangles though.

My printer is short on an ink colour so does not print the colours correctly and I did not pick this up until I was re-reading the pdf file on my computer. Felt such a twit. I really must pull that enormous lasor out from under the desk and replace the toners, easier than redoing a quilt lol
